I think it is important to be open to criticism and reflect. On the other hand, I think it is important that authorities set the tone that foreigners are welcome but they should not be given privilege where rules bend in their favor.

Singapore authorities have been favoring foreigners and the parity is not seen in treating citizens. This has to be addressed and arrested immediately.

being friendly to your HDB neighbour doesn't mean you continue to smile at him if he comes infront of your door and pee at your door step

when someone refer Singaporean as Dog, it refer to each and everyone. can human give birth to dog? anyone jump to their defence is wrong. he need to reflect and apologies without reserve and take back all his words, unless he is not a Singaporean.

PAP MP Hri Kumar is basically saying that PM can delay the Hougang by election until the next GE if he wants to. He uses Article 49 of the Constitution which states that

"The Constitution does not say that an election shall be "called" to fill a vacant seat. It simply prescribes that the vacant seat "shall be filled by election

His argument is merely playing around with words and thats it, and sounds pretty shallow. If a vacant seat shall be filled by election, then surely an election shall be called! This is not rocket science. As a senior counsel, he should know the law well enough. The main thrust of his argument is that the vacant seat shall be filled, but it can be filled at the next GE, not necessarily now.

This MP is another dog or lackey. Is this what he learn in uni, playing with words like an idiot , just to sing the same tune with PM Lee which is his boss
