River Valley precinct, which is located in the prime district 9, is believe to be sprung to life again and thrown straight into the spot light.

This is because Martin Modern, another masterpiece by luxury developer Guocoland, is set to launch in June 2017. This new launch sits on a 1.6 ha large plot of land, won via Government Land Sales, allows the developer to flex its muscle again to create another classic and quality development. According to reliable source, 80% of the land will be converted into a botanic garden, which will house more than 200 different kind of plant species and over 50 species of trees and palms. This garden will be spread over 3 levels, taking advantage of the project's site 10m upward slope from one end to the other end.

Once completed, Martin Modern will welcome 450 households spreading over two towers, each 30-storey tall. According to Martin Modern floor plan, this project offers only from 2 bedroom up to 4 bedroom with its own private lift, to provide the resident the kind of exclusivity of living in a botanic garden.

Some thought that Martin Modern PSF of $2300psf on average is on a high side, but most did not factor in the price premium increase once both Great World City MRT station (Thomson-East Coast Line) and Fort Canning MRT (Downtown Line) are completed before this project gotten its TOP status.

Property investment required great far sight but sometime this can be simplified by visualising what this area can offers in a few years time. For those eager to view Martin Modern showflat, it will be opened to the public for viewing from June 2017 onwards.
