Are these non-listed public companies?

Both are Co-operatives.

Non-listed means not listed on the stock exchange. Public company means hv unlimited no. of shareholders.

Private Co : not listed for trading in any exchange..shares are dealt on private basis...no open price...either limited or unlimited entity...Lao Niang Chee (unlimited) or Lao Niang Pte Ltd...Rolling on the flor laughing

Thanks, but I am still unsure..

By the term non-listed public companies, public companies need not be listed, right?

Can Co-operatives be public companies, since they also have shares for public to own?

B2N, y do u want to koe this diff leh?

Public companies got unltd shareholders and each liability is up to the amt invested. Listed and non-listed is up to you.

Co-operatives also hv shares just like NTUC Coop and can pay div too. But one is under Co Act and the other under Cooperatives Act. Two distinctly diff legislation lah.

Oh, actually is some declaration need to make and I don't know what they mean by this phrase.

I guess better ask them. Anyway, I think the coops should be considered as I don't think they bother about which Acts, but about if I am getting money from their shares.
