Anwar to make his political comeback as his party announced on Wednesday (Sept 12) that he will contest a by-election in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan.

Datuk Seri Anwar return to politics is widely expected, as he prepares to ascend to power as part of an agreement within the ruling Pakatan Harapan (PH) govt to make him Prime Minister in two years.

Port Dickson MP Danyal Balagopal Abdullah has stepped aside to allow de PKR President-elected to run in his seat.

Datuk Danyal Balagopal Abdullah. Port Dickson won with a 17,710-vote majority. The first-term PKR candidate defeated Barisan Nasional’s Datuk V.S. Mogan and PAS’ Mahfuz Roslan in a three-cornered fight.

Port Dickson parliamentary constituency has five state seats: Chuah, Lukut, Bagan Pinang, Linggi and Seri Tanjung. Known as the “army town” as it houses several army camps, Malays make up the majority or 42.72% of the 75,381 voters, followed by Chi­nese (33.11%) and Indians (21.97%).

Kuala Lumpur will continue to rules by the 93 yo, old man who are actually familiar with the conditions in Sabah and Sarawak.

We have to address that issue. Telling n forcing both Sabah n Sarawak folks to accept PH four parties to accept them as govering from KL.

Anwar were jailed 20 yrs ago by then-premier Dr M, and again the 2nd time on what supporters insisted was his fear of Anwar, his idea insisted he be send to jail.

News from KL: By-election for Port Dickson parliamentary seat will be held on Oct 13, Malaysia's Election Commission announced on Thursday (Sep 20).

Nomination Day will be on Sep 29, 2018.
