Singapore's reason should be CECA is no longer needed. India hasn't join or sign the RCEP. That is their choice but CECA is no longer needed.

The earlier they join the RCEP with the other countries, it might be better for them.

@copyright.

They are afraid of domestic farmers protest..

Certainly, Singapore is much better off with TPP (incl USA) but RCEP could be a fairer level playing field for all members (I m not sure)..

India, most likely, will not agree with RCEP. But, that is not important. It is a way to make obsolete the CECA with or without their consent.

Messy inside

In the first order, the government approved sanction of Rs 1.2 crore for annual maintenance of the camp office-cum-residence of YS Jagan Reddy in Tadepalli for 2019-20. In the second order, the state government approved sanction of Rs 39 lakh for new furniture in his Tadepalli camp office-cum-residence.

In July 2019, an amount of Rs 24.50 lakh was sanctioned for security upgrades at Lotus Pond Bungalow of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Earlier, India Today TV had reported how the Andhra government spent almost Rs 16 crore on the camp residence-cum-offices of CM YS Jagan.

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu has expressed dissatisfaction with regards to the amount of money sanctioned for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's camp office-cum-residence.

On November 6, Naidu said, "Govt has allotted a whopping Rs 73 lakh to fix windows for his (YS Jagan Mohan Reddy) house! Now that's one super expensive view at the expense of state exchequer! This comes at a time when AP is grappling with fiscal mess caused by mismanagement in the last 5 months. Truly cringeworthy!"
