EMBOLDENED BY LACK OF ACTION AGAINST IBRAHIM ALI, UMNO-LINKED NGO THREATENS TO STORM POLICE STATION, HURLS ‘P-WORD’ AT WAYTHA, ACCUSES TERESA KOK – WHILE IGP, MUHYIDDIN & MAHATHIR CAUGHT ‘SLEEPING’

Jaringan Melayu Malaysia president Azwanddin Hamzah today took the stage at a rally in Klang and proceeded to use the P-word on Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department P Waythamoorthy.

Some 2,000 people had attended the rally to demand justice for the late fireman Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim who succumbed to injuries after being attacked by rioters near the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman temple last month.

“This is our warning, this is not Waythamoorthy, this is P****h-moorthy,” said Azwanddin as the crowd cheered him on.

“We did not change his name, P****h-moorthy,” he repeated. “We ask that P****h-moorthy resign”.

Azwanddin uttered the word, deemed derogatory to Indians, at least three times.

Azwanddin said this was a message that he wanted to convey to Putrajaya and warned that the Malays will rise up if the government did not accede to the demands.

Calling Adib a “warrior”, Azwanddin said his death had united Malays and Muslims.

Do not try to create nonsense against Malays or Muslims as we will arise and fight back,” he declared.

During the rally, the commonly incendiary Azwanddin had urged authorities to detain those responsible for Adib’s death, failing which he threatened to storm the Klang police station.
“My warning to them, is that they [must] arrest the developer, arrest the lawyers and if not we would attack the Klang police station,” he said to a roaring crowd.

IN MAJOR U-TURN, ‘ISLAMIC’ PAS NOW CALLS FOR UMNO TO BE DISSOLVED – ‘IT HAS NO FUTURE, WHAT CAN UMNO OFFER THE PEOPLE NOWADAYS’

KOTA BARU – Pas is standing by its position that Umno has no future in the country’s politics and should be dissolved.

“This (the call for Umno to be dissolved) is not new,” Pas vice-president Datuk Mohd Amar Nik Abdullah said after launching the Kelantan Youth logo at Medan Usahawan, here, today.

“have said this many times in my ceramah after hearing about the problems that hit Umno lately.

“Logically, what can Umno offer the people nowadays?

“The party was given the chance to rule the country for 60 years.”

He was commenting on a statement by Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang at a recent interview in Dublin, Ireland, called “An Evening With Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang”.

Hadi had said that Umno was a leaking ship and that Pas would never merge with the party.

He reportedly said co-operation with Umno would create more problems.

Amar who is Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar said he was confident that Pas’s struggle, including in Kelantan, would be better in future.

“The people today can see the weaknesses in Umno. At the same time, they are given the chance to study all the promises made by Pakatan Harapan that are yet to be fullfilled, besides the problems among the component parties in Pakatan,” he said.
