Companies could struggle to enrol enough trial participants, or gather enough data to convince regulatory agencies that the shots work.

Check out this chart.

Green bar means Confirmed cases = Recovered cases

The number of recovered cases surpassed the confirmed cases 2 months ago. But you heard it only now?

Recovered cases is a cumulative figure. This virus has been raging for months, of course the number of recovered cases is higher than the number of new cases. This does not mean that the spread of the virus is slow.
There are between 200000 to 300000 new cases every day.

Just realized there will be only a few vaccine winners but many losers.

All coys rushing for their own survival.
Stop trying to calm the storm. Calm yourself, the storm will pass.

Confirmed cases is also cumulative.

There are new cases everyday, and there are also recovered cases everyday which dont get mentioned.

There are no winners or losers in this binary situation.

Its either everyone wins or everyone loses.

If Sg got vaccine and Msia & Indon don't, we'll be skrewed.

It is impossible for total recovered cases to be more than total confirmed cases.

If talking about daily numbers, then can

The chart is saying that the back end is dropping off faster than the front end is loading up. Rate of recovery exceed rate of new cases.

The virus is waning off.
