Hi the strategy I recommend for non.professional ordinary investors is

1. Invest regular putting aside a fixed amount every month.
2. Buy widely diversified low cost fund like Lion Infinity Global Fund.
3. Do it over 30 to 40 yr period.

The above strategy is immune to market crash. However, many people using this simple strategy will panic and second guess the strategy and stop when markets are down when their investment show losses. In other words they will self sabotage a working strategy because they are not mentally prepared.

A smarter investor will increase monthly investments when market goes down then reduces it when market recovers.

Over 30-40yrs a 50% crash in the market is a small blip. So long as you have discipline you will emerge a winner using above strategy.

However for those who use leverage special preparation and exit strategies have to be in place to avoid destruction. Many non professional traders using leverage get destroyed when wrong footed just one time that is why there are people who lose big and never recover in each crisis.

Your recommended strategy are for non professional ordinary investors who need to have a regular job and who can afford to put aside a fixed sum of money a month for investment. You are a professional extraordinary investor and I say professional because, investing is your only source of income and I say extraordinary because you are creating wealth or so it seemed without using leverage. Given that you have sound a warning to all to be careful, it is only sensible to assume you are expecting a market crash soon and since this is the case, what strategy would you recommend to folks like yourself who are professional extraordinary investors ?

Hey bro , you put the wrong scene la!
This finale was a bull market, 丁蟹 short the index and he lost everthings!

This is a dramatisation of a Futures trader's life and it is unreal. In real life, no Futures trader much less a successful trader would be that foolish to put everything on the line and go all in.

The protagonist is supposedly a seasoned trader and a seasoned trader would not put all his fortunes on one single trade.

And do you have any intention to address my post#32?

I find it rather odd Ah Butt can give advice to non professional ordinary investors, and he can also dished out advice for Futures traders but he can't give any advice for his fellow professional extraordinary investors, and there are many here.

I must confess I am quite astounded by your rare display of humility and since you are so humble today, may I humbly asked that you humbly share with me and your fellow professional investors on your strategy is dealing with the imminent market crash. I asked as I'm really curious and I asked on the behalf of your fellow professional investors in the spirit of learning and sharing from each other. After all, as you often said, this is an investment forum and we should learn and share with each other .
