What does it show when western states denied China joining international space programme?., as far as back 1992.

No choice, China as 2nd world economy power has to move going alone to show western world. It too can do ot.

No choice...one must move along n catch up and China learn to further jump start into newer technology frontier n infrastructure. So is Russia is also try to move along showing off their technologies to match U.S. space tech.

No problem lah, China can come out with 2 nm in a very short time. Look at how they launch a rocket and landed to the other side of the moon. Even Japan and India also cannot.
So 2 nm is no problem, only have to take a few years to come out.

By then probably TSMC may not be around
When landing on the moon n on the dark side, communication is lost....so it has to be very perfectly precise in their hardware and software programming skill. Their precision machinery and hardware must be mtach prefectly for a soft landing on the dark-side of the moon.

So. What does it say about the engineering skill. Their skill if continue is almost on par n enough to make earthling progress n appreciate by other, except United States

The space race will continue, by this three space technology countries to the next stage...to Mars.

hahaaa.....SMIC, 7nm next yr? or next decade?.....their 14nm yield is only 20-30%.....
SMIC almost all is US equipment, can sell huawei?....
stop selling equipment to them, close shop or go back to build 65nm IC.... thumbs up Rolling on the flor laughing

all these know nut, dont understand anything....bark like expert....speechless...
Samsung work with china? samsung & huawei is direct competitors in both hp & 5G.....work together?....even work together, cannot sell to huawei as all used US equipment....
samsung also start a latest technology IC plant in US soon.....

so simple? 14nm to 7nm, almost take them 4-5 yrs......Intel stuck at 10nm almost 6-9 yrs....
14nm almost 2000 process to produce...1 process yield is 50%, the rest 99%...the yield is below 25%?....
7nm almost 4000 process....every process 99% yield, total yield is not high either....so easy?...ton more.... thumbs up Rolling on the flor laughing

huawei so jialat.......only left mediatek & unisoc...both totally junk....
yet still cannot have google, youtube, facebook, whatsapp, twitter.....S$50?....
these junk cpu, not powerful, low performance, can have good camera computation?.....
what a joke.... Rolling on the flor laughing Rolling on the flor laughing Rolling on the flor laughing

In IC technology, no way to get away from US...from design tool to manufacturing equipment to production...
no high tech IC, dont talk about advanced weapons, rocket, space, plane, electronics.....
all need highest speed of computation & accuracy....slow, you lost....no accuracy, also lost...
you want all these, you need to pack & integrate ton in....
no more upgrade of almost everything in IC technology for china anymore form here onwards..... Rolling on the flor laughing thumbs up

Don't think Huawei will have a problem selling phones using 14nm chips produced by SMIC.

Meanwhile SMIC and its partners can work on the 5-7nm tech.
They have set a 2-years target according to this video, earlier than 2024 when the TSMC 5nm plant in US is expected to begin production:

America was the early mover and near grip on semi-conductor. Is not 100% of what the market is thinking and is not end of the world for chips controlled by the American.

In recently day. China successfully send a moon rocket robot to the dark side of the moon. After a few try n finally succeeded.

Anyway, China is not a member (banned) to access to the international space station. So China then has no choice, but to built their own space station.

Recently four china rocket launches all crashed !
