Police need a few more incident like this to act forcefully against the protesters.

Victim and protester starting the incident could be undercover police.

Undercover and got beaten up until almost dead? They should employ you to be such an undercover!

Your world is very small. Undercover may willing volunteer/assigned not knowing the over reaction he is expected to go through. Officer achieve objective. Pawn lost. Queen win. Game won.

Forgot to mention that the Queen can also be sacrificed to win.

I expected this will happen. More violent acts must happen or police no reason to use excessive force.

Protesters lured into departure area.

Previously, only in arrival public area (and after immigration and customs).

Gov got the excuse they needed now.

HONG KONG — An elite squad of police officers went undercover as anti-government protesters, infiltrating the ranks of radicals to perform arrests in a first move of its kind amid weeks of civil unrest that have rocked Hong Kong, according to force insiders.

If the undercover officers did not actively encourage the suspects to commit crimes they would not otherwise have committed, then their activities do not affect either the trial or sentencing.”

Next objective is to get protesters to gate crash INTO airside of the airport. Violent use of force by police would be justified.

Best solution is to get tens of thousands of PRC policemen and women to forcefully CARRY the protesters out of the airport.

Then lock down the airport. Only people with air tickets or pre printed boarding pass and airport staff allowed into the airport. Taxis allowed to drive up to departure and arrival driveway pick up or drop off.

Businesses like shops and food outlets would be affected but can't be helped.

What HK needs now is leadership and not an efficient adminstrator like Carrie. Currently it appears that the rioters are guided by an efficient leader.
In war, must get the right leader and everything will fall in place. Without a good leader, strong weapons and soldiers will lost their way....... Cool
