External Debt in Malaysia increased to 883368.20 MYR Million in the fourth quarter of 2017 from 873846 MYR Million in the third quarter of 2017. External Debt in Malaysia averaged 223463.11 MYR Million from 1990 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 908704.13 MYR Million in the fourth quarter of 2016 and a record low of 9063 MYR Million in the second quarter of 1997.

yes, but Spore external debt figure is bigger than Msia.

Not refer to public but local and foreign private
debt payable to foreign.

To have 0 debt is stupid. It means underutilisation of funds and financial poor management.

I used to hear of stories many years ago about people who tried to save money to buy home because they don't believe in incurring debts. You can know what is happening. He can never buy a house because the house price keep rising and his saving can never catch up. His payment of rents is a net loss of fund.

On the other hand, one who took housing loan buy a house found his net asset keep rising until he huat until buay rin chu.
