No one is wrong..blame the dead man

IAM afraid the DEAD man killed himself after watching gov.sg report. Video.
Gov.sg is too courteous. There are standing areas when the gun is in motion.
The whole Singapore from gov.sg ;Cos to all section commanders are now warned that they will be held responsibled for their men lapses.
IMHO, every man is responsibled for their own safety. You placed yourself in that sweet spot. Beri irresponsibled.
Furthermore u were a competent person knowing the gun well.

based on the video, there is enough time to get out of the way, unless video is slow motion.

This is not abt not enough time. He placed himself at the spot where there was no room to back off. He was hit from below around the chest.
That why he suffered multiple organ failures.
I think the Australian surgeon did their best for him but the blow was fatal.
Sorry comrade I have to write like this.

Commander is innocent. Those onboard could not be removed. They only needed to stand in safety areas provided.

immediately after the accident the Chief of MINDEF announced that there are SOP in place to ensure safety;
today his boss the Minister announced no equipment malfunction.
fast forward to several weeks ahead, the verdict will be.... dead soldier's mistake resulting in self-inflicted injury. case close
