Significant potential for Reits in Asia, an 'emerging' asset class

WE see significant potential for real estate investment trusts (Reits) across the Asia-Pacific region. Listings have already grown strongly over this decade, with the total number of listed Reits growing from 50 to 792, and the market capitalisation of the S&P Asia Pacific Ex-Japan index growing by 71 per cent.

These growth rates are the more impressive knowing that some of the countries in the region currently don't have any Reits, and where they do, they remain small.

While Reits have been largely a developed-market phenomenon so far, incremental growth is likely to come from the emerging markets, and the exciting potential of new markets such as the Philippines and India.

Ascendas Reit: another saliva dipping stock

One year ago only $2.45, three years ago around $2.30.
This stock used to hover around $2.60 plus, then it will go down to around $2.50 and repeat the pattern again and again.

Thus, NOBODY expect it to cross $3.00 ever, but now it’s at ALL TIME record high of $3.06!
Even at this heart pounding price, yield would still be more than 5%!!

Ascendas Hospitality Reit: this one is even more mouth watering

One year ago it was hovering around 0.75 cents, three years ago below 0.70.
Now, TODAY , it’s at ALL TIME record high of $0.985! Expect it to cross one dollar soon because it’s NAV is $1.02! Another catalyst story is, it is expected to merge with high performing Ascott!!!!!!

Okay, I will post all the mouth watering REITS as soon as I am free. Got to go and make more money while others KPKB
