Singapore announced stiff fines and jail on Thursday night for people who do not observe social distancing measures put in place to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

Singapore has announced stiff fines and jail for those who do not observe social distancing measures put in place to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Health on Thursday, people who do not observe physical distancing of one meter in “non-transient” interactions can be fined up to 10,000 Singapore dollars ($6,985) or be jailed up to six months, or face both penalties.

Social distancing also requires us to stay home , go out only when necessary.
Is it necessary for both parents to go out to the mall, plus baby.

Elsewhere, number of persons going out together has been limited to 2. And parents are told not to both go out and bring children with them. They are specifically told that one of them should stay home to mind the kids while the other goes out to get the necessities

Best is to observe social distancing at home also. Dun stay closer than 2 meters from family members. Each stay in own room when at home. Take lunch and dinner separately at different timings. See what else are needed and implement accordingly ...... Cool
