Turk Ottoman Erdogan’s again threaten this month to invade Syria north east Kurdish area, to crush claiming, the Kurdish is label as terrorist. Here, again, Mazloum reacted calmly. He said. His one condition is “no permanent base for Turkish military in our territory.”

Mazloum warned if Turk does invade, “we will not keep the battle just in areas Turkey wants,” but wage counterstrikes all along the 600-kilometer border between Turkey and Syria Kurdish areas.

He said his forces won’t cross the border, “but of course Kurdish people everywhere will cooperate,” presumably including the millions inside Turkey.

Syria's Idlib province hosting Hyatt Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), a jihadist off-shoot of Jabhat al-Nusra and al-Qaida, is increasingly more discipine n more prominent. According to studies report. HTS maintains a fighting force of between 12,000 and 15,000 militants as of Oct 2018, after shifts their jihadist networks factioned forces.

A Syria researcher for Human Rights Watch, says Syria n Russia regime bombardment has played a part in the group's HTS expansion.

"HTS now plays a key role in Idlib." Since the start of the Idlib offensive. Majority of weak rebel grps include Turkey support, Free Syria Army (FSA) have joined HTS in its fight against the Syrian Army. Then life in an "opposition stronghold" can mean many different things.

For Syria northeast, oso control largely by opposition. U.S. n US supported Kurds YPG have avoided the regime's bombardment due to United States presence force that remain after fighting the Islamic State.

Three montgs. Assad's assault on northwest has been met with a painful rebel counterpunch under estimated rebel strength n interest to keep Idlib out of his hands and shows why he will struggle to take back "Idlib" by force.

More than 3-mths of Russian-backed operations in and around Idlib province have yielded little or nothing for Assad's side.

It marks a rare case of a military campaign failure that has not gone his way since Russia intervened in 2015.
Nearly into ninth year of brutal conflicts of the 21st century. Fractions of opposition" in Syria that often overlooked. "Most of the time people look at Syria. Syria folks think of ISIS (Turkey once supported to crash Syria YPG forces), or the Kurds SDF / YPG, the Assad regime, Turkey n Turk supported FSA. The United States, Russian n the Iranian

Fact is Syrian folks have been the ones struggling against all of these forces, and they're still all there, fighting for each of their freedom, n It's the wish for Syrian hope n peace will come one day.

The beginning of Syria civil war started...in March 2011.

A civilian uprising against Assad regime began in March 2011 after young Syrians sprayed anti-regime graffiti on walls in southern Daraa.

Peaceful protests spread from Daraa across the country as Syrians folks called for the downfall of the Assad regime.

By 2012 armed opposition grps responded to Syrian Assad brutal fire, and the country fell into a civil fractional internal war. With the rise of the Islamic State grp in 2014. It quickly prompted the U.S. to directly intervene, sending thousands of troops to the country.

Iran and Iraq have largely supported Assad regime, while Turkey and Saudi Arabia have supported the rebels. Russia entered conflict zone in Sept 2015 and has supported Assad regime with major airstrikes and some ground troops.

There after, the U.S’s stated goals in Syria under the Trump administration have been three-fold: to defeat the Islamic State, to remove Iranian militia grps, and for behavioral change of Assad regime.

Turkey n US reached deal to setup a joint ops centre to control Syria northern safe zone, it would become a "peace corridor", without providing further details.

"Syria expresses rejection of US n Turkish occupations on establishing the so-called safe zone as a very blatant aggression against sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and on the UN Charter."

"This agreement has very clearly exposed US-Turkish aggression on Syria that serves Turkish occupation entity for Turk ottoman expansionist ambitions and it unequivocally exposed the misleading and evasiveness which govern Turkish regime policies. Syria calls on int'l community and on UN to condemn the US-Turkish aggression .

Northeastern Syria is currently control by US-backed Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), largely comprising of People's Protection Units (YPG).

Turkey has for weeks been pressing to establish a 30-40km deep zone within Syria n US, on the other hand, has tried to limit safe zone to 10km

His odyssey began in 2011, when he was 22 yo. And how survival.dunsee watched a teenager take 21 days to die after interrogators doused him with fuel and set him alight.
