If everyone are afraid of Nurses taking public transport, why don’t SBS designate every fifth bus as a bus for public health workers only. Good idea?

But anti bacteria detergent don’t kill virus right?

but I think most know by now.
Heat is an enemy.

another foe is high PH detergent or ..liquid

It is well known that coronavirus infectivity is exquisitely sensitive to pH. For example, the MHV-A59 strain of coronavirus is quite stable at pH 6.0 (acidic) but becomes rapidly and irreversibly inactivated by brief treatment at pH 8.0 (alkaline). Human coronavirus strain 229E is maximally infective at pH 6.0. Infection of cells by murine coronavirus A59 at pH 6.0 (acidic) rather than pH 7.0 (neutral) yields a tenfold increase in the infectivity of the virus.

People generally have a dread of viruses and other infectious agents. That’s why efforts urging the public to be supportive of nurses working on the front lines to nurse the sick back to health have not really succeeded. Despite taking all the necessary precautions to protect themselves, hospital workers are still perceived by many as potential carriers of viral diseases.

Humans, be they first-world or third-world citizens, have an instinct for self-preservation. And that, in a nutshell, is why an awful lot of people always keep their guard up.

“But today, my sister came home crying because a person in the bus took a peek of her NTUC bag, saw her nursing uniform && shouted at her to get off the bus because she is a nurse”, the lady added.

She also wrote that not only was she forced to alight by just one person but other passengers started pushing for it as well.

Apparently, there was another nurse on the bus who tried to defend her as well, but they were both forced to alight.

The woman’s sister questioned, “Healthcare personel (sic) not human? Are we animals to you?”

Same thing during SARS.

Look liked gov never learned from SARS.

She never poh mata.

If you’ve done nothing wrong why fear Traffic Police?
Nurses may not be disease carriers. You imagine Everyday you touch money, lots of virus, germs , bacteria are on it.
So in effect we are all also carriers of germs, bacteria and virus.
